in Clinic. Because walk in urgent care medical
clinics often lack the appropriate diagnostic tools to rule out
serious internal organ damage, any hard blow to the abdominal
area should be seen immediately in the closest Emergency
Department. If the patient is feeling faint, dizzy, or has
really bad pain, then call 911 for rapid transport via
EMS. Often CT scans are necessary for complete evaluation
of abdominal trauma. Urgent care walk in clinics lack these resources.
